Laf A Lot  has been dedicated to providing safe, enjoyable hunting and fishing on  the middle peninsula for more than 85  years.  Laf A Lot is interested  in promoting hunting and fishing and encourages our younger members to  fully participate in the club and carry on the rich tradition of Virginia hunting and  fishing.  For hunting, Laf A Lot leases over 3500 acres in New Kent  County, James City County and Sussex County.  Typically, about 20 to 30 organized hunts will be held each year during the regular shot gun season.  Prior to  gun season, members in good standing with the club enjoy full access to all Laf  A Lot property to hunt the bow and black powder seasons on an individual  basis.  Members also enjoy the small game  and turkey hunting seasons. Laf A Lot owns two cabins.  With a meeting area, full kitchen and bunk house, the Clark Cabin in New Kent County is used as the main gathering place during hunting season.  The Clark Cabin property is located on the Diascund Reservoir and also provides a relaxing stop for the Laf A Lot fishermen who hold regular fishing tournaments.  There is a small boat  ramp and a designated target shooting area at the Clark Cabin.  Located in a very quite part of James City County, the Gordon Creek Cabin is mainly used as a rental unit for members and their families.   With a pier on Gordon Creek and access to the Chickahominy River, the Gordon Creek Cabin provides a great summer get  away.  Please browse our web site and see all that Laf A Lot has to offer.  As  always, we encourage you to contact us with your comments and questions.
